i feel like i need a glossary of terms or a contact list for all these people involved with the show. i have shit memory and dont pay attention to the credits who is sera (sara??) and why does everyone hate her!! why is he Bobo!!!!!! please... has anyone posted about this im desperate

lol well including everyone involved with the show would be difficult, but I’ll give you some highlights

Eric Kripke: creator of Supernatural, showrunner for seasons 1-5. People have differing opinions about him but general people enjoyed his run and he’s considered the best showrunner in the series overall. Not much to say because there’s a lot to say lmao (notable episodes: “Pilot,” “Lazarus Rising,” and “Swan Song”)

Sera Gamble: writer who was involved from the beginning of the show, became showrunner after Kripke left. Her seasons, 6 and 7, are typically regarded as the weakest seasons. She was a huge brothers-only supporter, and was responsible for Misha being written out of the show (as well as Jim Beaver, Bobby) in order to get the show to just be about the brothers again. There’s a lot of drama regarding her treatment of Misha/Cas, but more recently she’s known for the Magicians debacle, a horrendous example of the Bury Your Gays trope. She’s also involved with (the showrunner of?) You on Netflix. She was a pretty good writer, but overall fans dislike her because of her showrunning tenure (notable episodes: “Faith” with Raelle Tucker, “Death’s Door,” “The Born-Again Identity”)

Jeremy Carver: writer from season 3 that was promoted to showrunner from seasons 8 through.... some time in 12, the timeline has been a little murky to me. He was the one who brought Cas back into the main plot, as well as allowing the deancas storyline to become genuine subtext (we can argue whether it was queerbaiting or what he was intending to do if he had been running the series finale, but yeah). Unfortunately, he was also the showrunner when Charlie was killed off brutally, which dampens his legacy. People are conflicted about his seasons, but generally he’s looked upon favorably (not related, but the picture that comes up when you search him on google is NOT him, he’s really like a typical white nerdy looking dude lol) (notable episodes: “The Rapture,” “Sacrifice,” “Do You Believe in Miracles?”)

Andrew Dabb: writer from season 4, promoted to showrunner during season 12 and is the last showrunner of Supernatural (he wrote the finale). He was well-liked by deancas fans for awhile because of how much screentime they were allowed to give, and because of the focus on extended/found family. Sam and Dean only fans didn’t like him for the same reasons. Unfortunately, HIS legacy has been marred by the awful series finale, though it’s debated whether that was his fault or because of network meddling. (notable episodes: “Dark Side of the Moon” with Daniel Loflin, “The Prisoner,” “Moriah”)

Robert Singer: executive producer since the beginning of the show (he’s also co-showrunner throughout Supernatural, but I don’t think he typically was involved with the plotlines too often). He’s directed quite a few episodes, including the infamous wire fight episode (s13 finale) as well as the series finale. Married to Eugenie Ross-Leming, writer of the show

Eugenie Ross-Leming/Brad Buckner: writing partners TECHNICALLY from season 1, but they only wrote one episode until they were brought back in season 7. They are regarded as the worst writers in all of Supernatural, responsible for tactless death scenes of fan-favorites (and typically minorities) like Kevin, Charlie, and Eileen. They also feature a gross amount of dubcon/noncon, racism, weird unnecessary sex stuff, and are SUPER into Lucifer for some unknown reason (they have a crush on Mark Pellegrino I guess). They’re also just kind of bad writers in general, their pacing is weird and their plots convoluted. To be fair, though, they have written some good moments, like Dean trying to reach Cas in Hell’s Angel and Dean’s confessional scene in Paint It Black. But overall, they suck. Why are they still on the show even though BOTH sides of the fandom (who never agree on ANYTHING) dislike them? Well, because Eugenie is married to Singer. Nepotism. (notable episodes, the ones I can stand to watch lmao: “Holy Terror,” “Hell’s Angel,” “Our Father Who Aren’t in Heaven”)

Ben Edlund: writer from season 2 who left after season 8, but people STILL talk about him simply because he is arguably the strongest writer of the series. Cas fans particularly like him because he did most of the heavy-lifting regarding Cas’ characterization. He also wrote the famous bi!Dean scene with Aaron in season 8, where Dean is flustered after being flirted with. (notable episodes: “On the Head of a Pin,” “The French Mistake,” and my all-time favorite “The Man Who Would Be King”)

Robert “Bobo” Berens: writer from season 9, his first episode was “Heaven Can’t Wait,” which is all you really need to know about his influence on the deancas storyline. He’s also gay, so people particularly enjoy seeing how he approaches destiel in his episodes since it’s not just another straight guy potentially just catering to fans. He was also the one who was meant to go off and run Wayward Sisters, and is responsible for a lot of their development in recent seasons. I believe he also created Rowena? He wrote the episode this season where Cas confesses his love to Dean (along with other heavy deancas episodes like “The Trap”). Sam fans typically don’t like him because he doesn’t give him much focus. (notable episodes: “Heaven Can’t Wait,” “Who We Are,” “Wayward Sisters” with Andrew Dabb)

Steve Yockey: writer from season 12 through the beginning of season 15. Also gay, and also responsible for deancas moments in recent years. Generally loved for his deancas subtext but ALSO because he is an amazing writer who came out with iconic episodes. (notable episodes: “Celebrating the Life of Asa Fox,” “Lily Sunder Has Some Regrets,” “Peace of Mind” with Meghan Fitzmartin)

Robbie Thompson: writer from seasons 7 through 11, and wrote some fan favorite episodes in the meantime. He is also the creator of fan favorite characters like Charlie and Eileen. He was also one of the few writers who was vocally supportive of destiel during his tenure rather than just later. I’m not implying anything about his intentions, but it was validating for him to encourage fans during a time where most of the cast/crew ignored or actively dismissed it. Plus his episodes are just fun! (notable episodes: “LARP and the Real Girl,” “Fan Fiction,” “Baby”)

Meredith Glynn: writer since season 12, has worked closely with Bobo during their seasons together. She and Bobo cowrote “The Future,” which is the mixtape episode, so she has been taken in by deancas fans haha. She also wrote the episode where Cas makes the deal with the Empty, so it’s pretty safe to say she and Bobo had worked on the deancas plotline together :) She’s also liked some deancas-related tweets on twitter, so she’s being subtly supportive (notable episodes: “Regarding Dean,” “The Future” with Robert Berens, “Byzantium”)

Davy Perez: writer since season 12 (a lot of the ones I’ve mentioned are, since this is when Dabb became showrunner and made changes in the writers room). His episodes tend to either be horror or bizarre. I mention him because he’s responsible for episodes like “Stuck in the Middle (With You)” (Cas’ first “I love you”) and “Tombstone” (aka Brokebacknatural lmao). I don’t know much about him otherwise, but that’s why he’s brought up usually (notable episodes: “Stuck in the Middle (With You),” “Tombstone,” “Atomic Monsters”)

hopefully this helps, and hopefully I didn’t forget about anyone major. There have been a LOT of people behind the scenes so it’s hard to say who to include. Like, I didn’t mention Jerry Wanek, Jim Michaels, Kim Manners, Thomas J. Wright, or others who might be mentioned from time to time.

Timekeeper's assistants AU

Alright y'all! This is gonna be my info dump post for the Timekeepers assistant Au- buckle up cause it's gonna be a long one!

Inspired by @queendibz post here

The entire purpose of the assistant squad is to keep all the time lines running smoothly- this can range from stopping a world ending event to making sure things misplaced by natural ghost portals get put back into the right time and place.

So First up on the crew list,

Dan:

-Dan definitely isn't a homicidal maniac anymore but he's not 100 percent "redeemed" either.

-I mean he's probably still a bit of sadist but he tries not to be?

-The best description I can give is that he's in recovery, basically.

-So, Clockwork knew that Dan would eventually bust out of the thermos just because it wasn't built to hold a ghost of his power level for a prolonged period of time. But beyond that?? He has no idea about anything in regards to Dan. Since Dan's creation was averted, his timeline doesn't exist anymore. He's a paradox that exists outside of time, and unfortunately, that means he's the one entity in the multiverse that exists in Clockwork's blindspot. There's no way for him to know what Dan's going to do next.

-Anyway, Dan eventually breaks out of the thermos fully intending to Fuck Shit Up, And Clockwork makes a point of informing him that if he leaves the clock tower he will cease to exist. (Like Dan, the tower exists outside of time, so he's safe there.)

-Dan is the first member of the assistant squad. Granted, it took a while for him to come around to the idea of helping Clockwork but he got there eventually.

-Dan is an entity that was born out of the rage and grief of two very broken people and he has so much shit he's working through as a result

-One of the first things he had to do was recognize and accept that he's an entity that's completely separate from Vlad and Danny. He might have all their memories and the weight of their mistakes on his shoulders, and on top of that, the atrocities he himself committed because of them. The first step is realizing that he doesn't have to be defined by the people that made him.

-It's a really fucking difficult thing to do tho and he's got a lot of weird emotions in regards to Vlad, Danny and the Fentons as a result. A near constant identity crisis, self loathing, daddy issues, something that could arguably be called an Oedipus complex, (FUCKING THANKS, VLAD)

-Cannot stand the smell of fast food, it makes him nauseous and the sight of Nasty Burger sauce alone is enough to make him vomit Ectoplasm.

-He's just a hot mess all around y'all

-He tries to keep his interactions with the Danny's as minimal as possible at first bc of this. The first time he meets them in person he shape shifts into Danny like he did in TUE and just pretends to be one of them. Some of them have had interactions with their respective Dan's already and would be super wary of him and probably pretty freaked out otherwise.

-Dan is eventually allowed to leave the clocktower for supervised "Field missions" with the aid of a time medallion to keep him from poofing out of existence, but it takes a while for clockwork to build up that level of trust.

-Dan's shapeshifting ability Actually comes into play a bit on a lot of those missions, since he can Mimic Danny it also makes sense that he'd be able to impersonate Vlad in the same way. Granted he's not incredibly comfortable taking on either of their appearances but it does help him hone his shapeshifting ability to the point where he's able to pick and choose features from both Vlad and Danny and sorta make his own human disguise.

-Most of the time he acts as the eye in the sky from the tower, monitoring for timeline anomalies and then notifying the appropriate member of the assistant squad.

-He has a room under the clock tower that he operates from. I kinda like the idea of there being like, catacombs down there? Anyway he's got all kinds of monitors and view screens and he very rarely leaves. It also doubles as his "living space." He doesn't need to sleep but he's got a big mess of a pillow fort that he crashes in regardless bc sometimes you just NEED to be unconscious for a while. The catacombs are also absolutely full of those little blob ghosts that wander around the zone bc They're attracted to the ecto energy the tower gives off. He's really annoyed by them at first but they grow on him after a while and now he just dotes on them.

-There's a specific throw pillow sized one that likes to hang out in Dan's room a lot and he ended up getting a little over attached to the stupid thing. His name is Dorian. Bc he's a gift.

-SIR THATS MY EMOTIONAL SUPPORT BLOB

-Dan's appearance has changed slightly. He wears his hair loose now and it's kinda just this big fiery mane when it's not contained. His cape is more of a cloak now, it has a hood and he wears it sorta pinned together at the shoulder so the DP logo is covered.

-Dan's relationship with the rest of the Danny's is kinda weird, and a little strained. He has a hard time being around them for very long because, well, he used to sort of be them? Except not really? He does care about them tho, and the last thing he'd want is for one of them to end up like him.

-His relationship with clockwork definitely starts out pretty familial, after he becomes his assistant, anyway. There's room for that to develop into meddling minutes but I'm not entirely sure if I'm gonna go that route yet.

-The Danny's only ever hear his voice for a while before he finally let's them meet him for real, so they end up calling him Charlie for a while as a joke. Cause Ya know. Charlie's angels. Even after Charlie still ends up being his designated name on missions.

Mer! Danny:

-Was recruited bc a lot of the shit that gets sucked through natural portals ends up in a body of water somewhere and when that happens he's on call to retrieve it.

-Is Actually not at all ghostly! Mer Danny's situation is basically the plot of H2O (just add water), or if you haven't seen that, Aquamarine. And by that I mean he's only a merfolk in water.

-He's an electric eel

-His Jack and Maddie are marine biologists, with a particular interest in marine cryptids

-We're taking sea monsters baby!!!

-Not entirely sure how this Danny ended up half mer yet but I'll figure it out, lmao.

-14 years old

-His nickname/ designation is "Moray"

Crown Prince! Danny:

-Nickname/designation is Prince / Princey

-16 years old

-Not allowed to go anywhere in the zone without the Fright knight bc of some ancient ghost law bullshit, so he has a constant babysitter.

-He's next in line bc he sealed away Pariah, but can't take the throne until he is both, A) at least 18 years and B) Completely deceased

-Vlad is his Regent bc he did have a part in the whole sealing the previous king thing, but he's also not completely dead so his power is super limited there.

-As Prince Danny has the crown of fire in his ghost form, although now the name is kinda ironic seeing as it's completely frozen over. It's blue now and it smokes like dry ice.

-As Regent, Vlad has the ring of rage for "safe keeping"

-Vlad and Danny are pretty much constantly at each other's throats, fright knights probably had to shut down more than a few of Vlad's attempts to usurp the crown from Danny through combat.

-Princey deals with the timeline issues that involve the ghost zones' internal / political affairs, and he's gotten very well versed with dealing with the Observants.

Winged! Danny :

-15 years old

-Mallard duck wings

-His Vlad is a swan

-Comes from a family of waterfowl, Jack is a goose, and Maddie is a white swan. Both he and jazz are ducks bc of their grandparents.

-As Fenton his wings are white, like jazz, and as phantom they turn black with a green iridescent sheen.

-He's trans

-Nickname/ designation is inviso Bill. Bc ducks have bills haha get it-

-Ghostly wail?? Nah son he's gotta killer QUACK

-Absolute besties with Mer!Danny/ Moray, sometimes they go swimming together after a mission.

Clone! Danny:

-Physically he's a 12-year-old, but he's only been alive for a few months.

-Alt universe where Vlad manages to stabilize the perfect clone with his own DNA.

-Dani still exists, and the original danny from his time line also rescued the other problematic clones.

-Doesnt like the fact that he's a clone, and very much wants them all DEAD. Bc them running around is a reminder that he's not the real danny.

-Human half looks the same aside from the widows peak and the mallen streak. His ghost half takes after plasmius. Blue skin, and the Hazmat kept it's original white colors.

-Probably has fangs and a forked tounge.

-Not so much a member of the squad as he is someone that they need to be keeping an eye on.

-Does NOT get along with them.

-Dan enjoys making him uncomfortable.

-Designation is Masters / the brat (not to his face tho)

Family Breakfast AU! Danny:

-A BABY

-The boy is a fucking overpowered todler okay. He's an 8 year old.

-The biological son of his Vlad, was born a Halfa. Jack, Vlad and Maddie got their shit together and are in a healthy poly relationship.

-Got separated from Vlad one time in the zone and inadvertently adopted by the assistant squad and clockwork.

-His Vlad is aware of the squad and just. Dad's the crap out of the Danny's as a result. It makes for some..... interesting interactions.

-I can't think of a nickname so I'm just gonna be lazy and say he gets to be the one Tru Danny bc cute little kind privileges lmao.

Full ghost! Danny:

-15 years old, will always look 14.

-Nickname/designation is Toast

-Died in the portal accident and got fucking FRIED.

-He always smells like somethings burning.

-He's really bright and sorta sparks a bit, you can see his bones glowing through the hazmat.

-He still leave the zone to protect his version of amity, but lives with clockwork full time.

Canon Danny (NOT PHANTOM PLANET COMPLIANT) :

-Basically show Danny, except phantom planet never happened fuck you

-Joined the crew after the events of de stabilized

-Also he's trans fuck butch

-Franken! Danny

-Yall remember that Headless Danny Au? This is my take.

-Is Actually 20 years old, but physically stuck at age 14. Bc he's a walking corpse :)

-Came from a timeline that was directly parallel to Full ghost! Danny. He dies in the portal accident, but jack and Maddie are in the lab when it happens and manage to sort of bring him back using a combination of science and freaky ghost junk.

-So he's basically possessing/ stuck inside of his own dead body. Which, is thankfully not rotting or going into rigor mortis bc Ectoplasm is rather similar to formaldehyde, but he's not the most durable thing and bits and pieces fall off from time to time.

-Like his head. For example.

-He's pretty desensitized to it at this point and if he loses a leg after a ghost fight he doesn't see anything wrong with sitting down on the curb of a main street to stich it back on. His being dead isn't exactly a secret.

-Don't ever ask him to "give you a hand" bc he can and will not hesitate to pop one off and Chuck it at you.

-Said hand and any other body part will continue to function just fine even if it isn't attached to anything, btw.

-Nickname/ designation is Adam. Bc. Ya know. that's the name Frankenstein's monster gave itself.

Post Phantom Planet! Danny:

-A very jaded 22 year old who is driven only by spite and enough caffeine to kill a horse

-Very, very tired of the hero thing.

-Being a global celebrity isn't all it's cracked up to be.

-Decided to follow Vlads lead and fuck off to space for a while. Partially to get away from everyone and also partially bc he kinda feels responsible for the fact that the only other person like him and probably floating DEAD in the void somewhere? And yeah Vlad fucked up all on his own but what if he'd tried harder to get through to him things could have been different-

-Joins the crew after a natural portal opens up in space and decides to help out and use clockworks resources to try and track down his Vlad.

-Nickname/ Designation is Polaris, aka the north star.

despite your close relationship, you two didn’t get along at first due to different views on certain things

but overtime your relationship mended and now the two of you are the closest friends can get

due to your young ages you use this to your advantage to get anything you want from the members

also, take your pranking with jimin and multiply that by a million cause hoo boy you two cause A LOT of chaos

skinship and platonic kisses for days off camera. he really loves you a lot and just prefers to show it off camera cause he’s a shy baby

you steal his hoodies and shirts a lot cause they are comfy and he either complains or just lets you take them

yeah you guys are that close, and the other members haven’t fully accomplished a feat like that yet so they are amazed

but in reality he’s just a soft bunny baby that doesn’t want you to leave him

you two probably had some dating rumors surrounding you, but at the end of the day nothing will change your guy’s amazing friendship

Twilight Headcanon: Everyone is a Thriving Adult

I wrote a brief version of this headcanon, but the post I just reblogged inspired me to write the whole thing.

Bella is currently finishing up her last year of graduate school. She received a bachelor’s, master’s, and is working on a PhD because she’s driven and she’s that bitch. She started out majoring in literature, received her master’s degree in something to do with literature but also maybe history idk, and a PhD in something else related (y’all I’m lazy and don’t want to do the full research for this, I’m not a writer lmao). Anyway, she goes on to become a literary historian. She partied it up in college, dated around, had a few relationships. Made some mistakes. Dyed her hair a few times. Got some tattoos. Like a bitch was really living. As she is getting older and is around 26, she decides to move in the same town as her father as he has retired and is getting older. Bella gets an amazing job working as a literary historian in the area and becomes the most sought after literary historian in the pacific northwest (and arguably, the entire country).

Edward was changed at 28 years old. It still happened the same way. Prior to being changed, Edward had taken a few classes at the local college and was working as a bookkeeper for a local newspaper company and played piano at the local theatre. Seeing as Carlisle rescued him from certain death, he desperately wanted to follow in Carlisle’s footsteps and be a doctor. He always admired Carlisle’s self-control and his ability to help save lives. Despite this desire, he never fully trusted himself to work with patients directly, so Edward decided to instead major in archaeology. This has allowed him to study humanity throughout the ages as well as their cultures and customs. He has been able to learn about various types of medicine through the ages. Though he usually does not go out on digs, due to the direct sunlight involved with many of them. When his boss asks him about it, he chalks it up to a skin condition which would undoubtedly put him in the hospital if he had too much direct sun exposure. No one ever really questions it, seeing as he’s so pale in the first place. Edward is able to share his findings with Carlisle and the two often work together to try to find new cures and understand more about what makes humans tick.

Bella and Edward meet when Edward is trying to analyze some old writings, but he has no cultural context for them so he can’t truly make sense of their intent. Hearing about this young and impressive literary historian, he seeks out Isabella Swan. She is able to find several books which will help Edward to analyze the writings that were discovered. The two meet up at a little Italian restaurant in Port Angeles where they share ideas. Over conversation, the two realize that they have much in common. The main thing is their compassion for humanity. This is what drives them to be successful at what they do. Bella strives to do so through education, whereas Edward tries to do so through discovery. They also connect over a mutual love of history. They decide to meet again and continue to get to know each other more and more. They fall in love naturally, as if both of them were human. After their initial meeting, though, Bella recalls a recent conversation she had with a client named Jacob Black (who was also a dear childhood friend) (also they’re just friends and there’s no love triangle and that’s that). He was discussing some of the Quileute legends with her and asking how to best preserve them while ensuring they are protected under intellectual property law. Briefly, she thinks he may have mentioned the name Cullen, but Bella brushes it off as a coincidence, though it doesn’t stop her from piecing the facts together over the next few months.

Husband watches Koi to Producer Recap, Episode #2

Good lord I wanted to smack him so many times during this episode. Buckle up because he is still not on team Gavin 🤦‍♀️ Spoilers and his thoughts under the cut:

My husband’s comments are in bold.

-meeting Victor- Oh Victor, what the heck! That carpet under your desk is TACKY! Who does that? Who does he think he is Joe Exotic?

-Asks me how old everyone is- Damn, everyone needs to get on Victor’s level. What do you mean by that? “Gavin is a cop…” “You don’t know everything yet!” “I’m just saying so far!” I am literally going to hurt him.

-Lucien meeting, talking about LFG- “It means looking for group? So there is a lot of silly game references in here.”

“Kiki is Mako from Kill la Kill. She’s an idiot but adorable..” Lmao. “Lucien comes across as murder-y Bill Nye.” (I’m dying, he still doesn’t know a lot about the guys yet so I find this so funny.)

-at the police station- Police officer is talking about how Gavin “floats around all day” “Ha! Get it floating off! Gavin is Seto Kaiba from Yu Gi Oh, if he became a cop.” Lol, I don’t even know 😂

“Hope those earrings are in regulation Officer.” Shut up Eric. My husband’s name is Eric btw XD

-crime scene- MC “Gavin were you there yesterday?!” Eric: “Yeah I was off screen just floating in the air, like a Criss Angel reject.” Wtf 😂😂😂😂😂

-alley way where MC gets attacked- “He said jump MC! JUMP!”

-in the air- “I’m not even going to get into fast that wind has to be going for them to standing in that position. My rough math would in experience be around 240 mph wind, you can’t talk in the middle of that.” (he was a paratrooper in the military, but he is so judgey 🙄good lord it’s a game/anime, typical man. )

-Kiro texting MC- Okay that was cute, I like Kiro.

-at her apartment, seeing Lucien next door- “Bill Nye the murder guy! That’s what I think of when I see Lucien!” This is still freaking hilarious to me.

-Black Swan scene- “Yeessssh, BS is a cult!” (welp, he’s in for a ride lmao)

-rating the guy’s baking photo- “Ok Kiro looks cute like always, but he is eating chocolate covered potato chips! (OMG I DIDN’T NOTICE THATTTTT) Victor has this whole group of pudding and Gavin like the rest of his life is trying not to fuck up this cake. And Lucien is over in his own complete world thinking of his murder cookies which he will eat after he kills people.” (I have no words, but he’s probably correct when it comes to Lulu lol!)

Final Thoughts: This episode was not named correctly it should’ve been named “Why Gavin blows.” (I am going to kill him.) Overall, I am actually impressed with this episode, it’s gone in the right direction to establish a plot. I find it funny how this is a “show” trying to be decent show, while also portraying a character who is trying to make a decent show. The irony! It’s good so far though!”

My new mission to get him to like Gavin because if he keeps insulting him, he’s going to end up sleeping outside. Ha! See you next week for episode 3!

You know, I haven’t been in the Supernatural Tumblr fandom long. Maybe about a year and a half? And there’s shitty people, and ship wars, and all the bs that comes with the territory. Yet there’s meticulously beautiful meta, ‘wig? snatched’ crack, ingeniously immersive fics’ of deserving authors and amazingly awesome people in general too. But the show...

Oh, I’ve been watching this show for years. Along with the cast shenanigans, the cons, the bloopers I’ve been a part of this huge beautiful troublesome funny quirky family since I was 12. And as I’m sure it’s true for everyone who loves this show, its characters and the spn family as much as I do - this show has gotten me through some shit. So coming home today, seeing the video from J2M and finding out season 15 is the last hurrah of this incredible series that feels more like an old friend than a TV show. Yeah. It's tough, and I was crying, still am a bit for more than a few reasons.

Once upon a time there was a girl...

An amazing, intelligent, funny, brave soul who never backed down and always stood up for what she believed was right. And in every aspect apart from blood, she was my big sister, and my best friend.

If you wanted a comparison, she was the dorky yet bad-ass elder brother Dean - we both adored pie - to my nerdy yet freakishly wise little sibling Sam - even though I’m the bi one out of both of us. I could keep going for days talking about her, and how bright of a celestial wavelength of intent she really was, but I’ll just sum it up with this...

I loved her very much.

We got each other into spn due to a dare, as I told her to steal her Dad’s Series collections, as he usually kept them out of reach from our cheeky paws (yes there was also porn, but surprisingly we left that alone). I thought it would be funny, especially since we had to YouTube how to pick a lock.

Never knew it would change my life forever. We found the first 3 seasons of Supernatural tucked away in a dusty corner, watched the first episode and never looked back.

We manage to co-binge (after scrambling to buy the next two seasons) all the way up to S5 ep23 - the heartbreaking last Kripke farewell - “Swan Song”, whilst I believe Season 8 was still airing episodes. She wanted to make our ringtones “Hey Assbutt”; I just remember shaking my head and laughing, even now, even after I’d sobbed into her shoulder over... Well you guys know.

Though the one thing I vividly recall is perhaps the most important. She’d turned to me, and I was instantly suspicious, but she’d just knuckled my head and hugged me. Definite chick flick moment lmao. Then she gripped my pinkie tight and raised it in hers, and she made us both swear that no matter how many seasons, how much it made us laugh and rage and cry, we would stick around until the very last season. And no matter what, we would watch and laugh and rage and cry over the last episode of this show we both loved. Together.

Supernatural was our Impala, and our shared pact was the initials we scratched into it.

Not long after that she was diagnosed with lung cancer.

For a while there everything was numb and horrible and inside it was...shit. Yet she always tried to put on that stupidly persistent brave face of hers, and she was trying so hard even though she shouldn’t have had to. Like Dean, I suppose. So I tried to try harder, to make her forget about the pain and the tears, and to remind her that she was still there. I tried.

For her.

She went out with me and her Dad on her birthday to a parlour to get the anti-possession tattoo, and told me that when I was old enough she’d be right next to me when I got a matching one over my heart. We caught up to the - then - currently airing episodes whilst she was still in hospital undergoing chemo. I’d bring in my laptop and we’d stream them late into the night, I think we pissed the nurses off a bit too much with our slightly too loud reactions hehe.

Even though she got weaker and sicker, she never wanted me to stop watching episodes with her, until we were in the hiatus heading towards season 10. She kept saying that Dean would come back to himself eventually, that the ‘going black-berry eyes’ wouldn’t stick. That he always would, because he “loves his family too much”, is what she said.

And then a little while later, she was gone.

My best friend. My big sister. We never got to watch the next season, and we played ‘Wayward son’ at her funeral. Everyone who was close to us both knew the lyrics by that point, along with Led Zepp and a lot of the other grunge/rock/metal bands she loved.

For a while I stopped watching the show. I was so angry, and lost, and it was so dark there for a bit. I though what was the point if she wasn't there to watch it with me? I think it was almost half a year later when I finally got around to coming to her Dad’s house - her room having been left untouched because it hurt too much - to help finally collect things or give em to charity.

It was there that I rediscovered the first few spn series boxes that we’d rescued from that dusty corner so long ago, and I don’t know why, but in her room, tears pooling in my eyes staring down at the cover, I decided to watch them all again. And for the first time since that last watch at her bed-side, it felt like she was there with me once again, alive, laughing and crying and raging with me like always. I caught up to the current episodes, and a short-while later entered fandom, which leads to me writing this post. If you wanted a metaphorical Ouroboros no one asked for in this post, there you go.

I’m an atheist, but if there is a heaven like in the show, or something else, some sort of ‘beyond’, I liked to think she was re-living all the best memories I’m thinking of right now. Including the day we found our favourite show, with the Winchester brothers and the best gay-angel in all of TV. And that if she were reborn into the meta-alternative world of supernatural, that she’d be kicking ass right alongside them.

I think she’d be just as fond as me of the Winchester’s nougat son.

Now don’t get me wrong, this isn’t a pity story. My sis has been gone a while now, and although it will always hurt, I’ll never forget the promise I made. That every single moment of this show since 2005 has been a blessing, and that I am so grateful that me and her got to be a part of it together, and share it as something so special that changed both our lives for the better.

That even though she’s gone, next year when the final season 15 airs, I’ll keep my promise. Until the last fare thee well of the last episode.

Because family DOESN'T end in blood, and neither does the spn family end in it either. She taught me that. The three Winchester’s taught me that.

All of you taught me that.

We’ll all still be the spn family, the cast, the crew, the artists, the writers, the shit-posters, the people who do binge re-runs every other week, the hardcore shippers, all people that love one another with bonds made over years of laughter, blood, sweat and tears. In some form we’ll still be here, and so will these characters - in our hearts - just like she was for me.

I’ll make every second in this final season something to treasure, laughing and crying and raging and smiling until the last moment.

I’ll do it for me. I’ll do it for the supernatural family. I’ll do it for this show I hold so dearly.

And I’ll do it for her.

The Wolf and His Angel

Chapter 3: Loose Ends

The sun peaked through the blinds and curtains letting its rays hit my face waking me up from my deep slumber. I sat up and stretched and felt slightly cold, which confused me, I turned around not sending my lover but a note in his place.

Good morning my angel Myself and the pack went to go grab Jacob, I’ll be pack as soon as I can. Emily is waiting for you at her place like always she has breakfast. I love you -Paul

I smiled seeing his slightly sloppy handwriting and pushed myself out of bed as I stretched once again walking towards the closet that Paul and I shared in an oversize shirt and my panties I put on after my shower last night.

“Ehh not today.” I said as I pushed past the tight gray v-neck shirt that hung and continued skimming through what seemed the endless clothes I’ve collected over the years

“You seem like a good choice.” I mumbled as I pulled out the red long sleeved shirt with cut out shoulders.

I put the shirt on the non-made bed and walked over the the dresser and opened the drawer full of jeans and pulled a light washed pair out and threw them on the bed next to the shirt and then walked into the bathroom that was connected to our room and began to brush my teeth then I pulled my hairbrush out of the drawer and began brushing my hair and then let the long straight blonde locks flow down my back naturally.

I exited the bathroom and walked up to the clothes that laid on the bed and pulled the skinny jeans on my legs and then peeled my night shirt off and replaced it with the red top. I walked over to my dresser again and pulled out a pair of socks then bound my way down the stairs, pulling on my dark brown boots then grabbing an apple out of the bowl in the kitchen as I exited the house I began my walk towards Sam and Emily’s as it was only a short walk down the street to their house.

“Good morning Emily. It smells good in here as always.” I smiled as I walked through the open door and saw my best friend mixing something in her kitchen, her head whipping up then her face turned into a smile upon seeing me.

“G’morning to you too Rosalynn and thank you.” Emily stopped and came over to me with open arms which I accepted and hugged her back avoiding letting the apple get in her jet black hair.

“How’s it going?” I asked as we pulled away, Emily returning to her mixing and I took a seat at one of the mix-match chairs facing her.

“Great, Sam and I are coming along on our wedding plans.” Emily said smiling wider when she said Sam’s name, I continued to eat my apple at the table.

“Really? Did you guys pick a flower?” I asked excited, getting up and throwing the apple core in the garbage. Being around 4, now 5 due to Jacob finally phasing, constantly had its ups and downs; a down included not having ‘girl talk’ as often as it sometimes felt needed with Emily and I.

“Yeah, we did. Peruvian Lilies” She said I sat back down, tucking one leg under the other letting the one swing, as she pulled the muffin tin in the oven, so that’s what was making the room smell so delicious and inviting.

“Sam knows what those are?” I teased, giggling a little as Emily set up a plate full of muffins.

“Probably just going with it, honestly.” My best friend laughed back as she set the plate on the table, “You might want to eat one before the pack gets back, you of all people know how they are.” she returned to the kitchen, filling another muffin tin.

“How long have they been gone?” I asked, picking up a muffin and began picking at it, enjoying its warmth and flavor.

“Umm” Emily looked at the clock, “About an hour and half now, where could they be?” She wondered out loud.

“Jacob doesn’t live that far, does he?” I asked and she shook her head no.

I tried to focus on hearing one or several of the boys’ voices in my head and I did.

Sam. He could’ve gotten us hunted by telling that little Leech-lov

After several minutes of silence, Sam was most likely talking (more like scolding) to the two wolves then Paul’s sarcastic laugh broke out

I ain’t gonna apologize but I will admit you can phase on the spot and I’m impressed

I’m not gonna apologize either but you can put up a good fight.

The voices of Paul and Jacob stopped talking, most likely shifting back.

“I can only hear Paul’s and Jacob’s, I don’t know where the othe-”

As if on cue, the roar of an engine arrived and the whistling and talking came from Jared and Embry.

“Well there’s 2 of 5″ I mumbled then hearing a girl talk, confused, I looked at Emily but she didn’t seem to realize it as she pulled the other tin of muffins out of the over and beginning placing them on the table as the two boys walked in.

“You boys hungry?” Emily asked as the boys bounded up the 2 porch stairs and into the home.

“I could’ve answered that one for you.” I laughed and continued to munch on my muffin.

“Whatever.” Embry pushed on my arm and I pushed him back just as rough, Emily turned to around to place the muffins on the table when she stopped then asked

“Who’s this?” I looked up from the table and towards the door seeing Bella standing at the door, I leaned back in my chair and put my one leg on an empty chair and looked at her.

“It’s Bella Swan, who else?” I saw as Bella pulled herself from looking at Emily’s scarred up face to look around the room, her eyes landing on mine.

“Yo-you’re the one I saw in the field. The one who ha-”

“The one with wings. Yes.” I cut her off, “I’m Rosalynn. Guardian Angel at your service” I acted to tip my imaginary hat toward her.

“So that makes you the wolf girl?” Bella carefully questioned Emily, as she placed the plate on the table between the two boys.

“Well since I’m engaged to one I guess so.” Emily laughed slightly, “Save some for your brothers. Plus Ladies first.” Emily pushed at the two boy’s backs. “Muffin, vampire girl?” She teased back.

“Sure, thanks.” Bella said and stepped forward taking a muffin off the platter and retreating towards the steps.

“So you’re really a guardian angel?” Bella awkwardly asked me

“I don’t know, do vampires and werewolves exist?” I smugly said and Bella just awkwardly laughed.

“You know, you can leave it to Jacob to find a way around Sam’s gag order.” My best friend as she turned around to start cleaning the kitchen up.

“He actually didn’t say anything to me.” Bella awkwardly stated, I took her in more. She seemed extremely reserved. The type of person who’d rather stay to themselves than go out shopping with her friends.

“It’s a wolf thing. Alpha’s orders get obeyed whether we want them to or not.” Embry stated, “Oh and get this. We can hear each others thoughts.”

“Would you shut up!” Jared yelled at his brother and I laughed watching the normal interaction. “These are trade secrets! Dammit! This chick runs with vampires!” Jared finished using his muffin as a pointer.

“You can’t run with vampires. ‘Cause they’re fast.” Bella said and I lost. I began laughing hard, she has so much to learn.

“Bella. I’m even faster than vampires.” I continued laughing

“Freaked out yet?” Embry spoke up again and I raised my eyebrows at the dark haired girl.

“You’re not the first monsters I’ve met.” Bella stumped out

“We’re the best ones though.” I mumbled lowly so only Embry and Jared could hear me and they chuckled out.

“Jake’s right. You’re good with weird.” Sam’s deep voice said as he walked in and went right over to Emily, no one said a word as they enjoyed their little moment of happiness in each other arms.

Paul and Jacob came in bumping and pushing each other playfully, easily getting over the fight they said and became brotherly once again. Jacob stood at the door as Paul walked over to where I was. He stood above me and leaned down to kiss me deeply. Fireworks hit my once again like they always do with him.

“I’m sorry you woke up alone.” He mumbled to me as he withdrew from the kiss

“It’s okay, as long as you’re okay.” I said back as he pulled the chair next to me out, lifting my leg off of it, sitting down and placing them on top of his lap, running his hand up and down my leg.

“Sorry.” Paul said as he turned and faced Bella for a split second then turned his attention to the still warm muffins on the table.

“Did you sleep okay, gorgeous?” Paul turned his attention back to me while he ate his muffin.

I nodded my head and placed my hand on the back of his neck, scratching it lightly. Out of the corner of my eye I saw Bella and Jacob leave.

“Emily said you guys were gone for a long time, what happened?” I questioned as he leaned into my touch.

“We were going to get Jacob and that little leech lover showed up, blaming us for everything, she pushed Sam, slapped me and I lost it, phased then Jacob came out to protect her and we got in a fight. Not serious at all.” Paul shrugged

“Why does it seem like Jacob is being a better at guarding than me?” I laughed at my own joke.

“No one is better than you, my angel.” Paul kissed my forehead, I laughed lightly and pushed him away by his naked chest.

“You said you got into a fight? Are you okay?” I asked concerned for the love of my life.

“I always am.” He gave me his famous smirk then continued to eat.

“Has Jacob told her anything?” I asked no one in particular, “Well before this hot-head lost his temper.” I nudged Paul’s arm, teasing him.

“No. That’s what he’s doing now probably.” Jared said from next to me.

“You know, I’m kinda shocked she couldn’t figure it out. Jacob wasn’t exactly secretive about it.” I said annoyed.

“Well. Since Paul over here can’t handle his anger without you around he phased because she slapped him for laughing.” Embry said.

“Watch it there buddy or your next.” Paul growled out at his brother

“You better watch it.” Sam grunted out, “I don’t need more fights or a broken home.” Sam was behind Emily, his hands on either side of her body as she cut up vegetables as she began making more food.

It was just getting dark out when Jacob came back. Paul sat on a chair in the living room and I sat in his lap, his hand rubbing up and down my thigh. Embry laid on the couch, taking it up entirely, as we watched TV absentmindedly. Sam and Emily were in the kitchen cleaning up after dinner and Jared was on patrol.

“We have a problem.” Jacob announced pulling all of our attention to him.

“What is it, Jacob?” Sam asked, I could feel his concern.

“That red-head we’ve been chasing to the boarder over and over, is after Bella as well as Rosalynn.” Jacob said nervously, something felt off about this emotions to me.

“What.” Paul demanded, “You’re kidding me.” Paul stood up taking me in his arms then setting me down onto my feet.

“Paul.” Sam silenced him. “What do you mean she’s after Rosalynn and Bella? What do either of them have to do with her?” Sam asked Jacob just as confused as the rest of us.

“Her name is Victoria and she’s going after mates.” Jacob explained

“She’s never even gotten at look at my face, let alone figure out who I am to Paul.” I stated angry.

“I don’t know. I’m just repeating what Bella told me. They’ve apparently had a run in with them before.” Jacob stated.

“He was apart of the vampire with dreadlocks’ coven before her mate died. That’s probably who I saw when we found in her the woods the other day.” I said to the group. Everything seemed to make some type of sense but some things just were not adding up like how she knew who I was and how Paul and I were mates and that La Push was even my home.

“We’ll figure this out in the morning. Right now it’s getting late and you all need sleep, God only knows what’s coming our way. Embry, while on patrol watch Paul and Rosaylnn’s home. We can’t afford anything.” Sam instructed and we all followed as instructed.

“Let’s go home.” Paul snarled out, obviously mad at the situation and the red-head vampire.

“I’ll see you in the morning.” Emily said as she came to hug me.

“Yep. Sleep well.” I smiled at her as we pulled away from our hug then Paul and I made our way out the door after saying our goodbyes and down the street to our little home.

“I didn’t realized how tired I was till we started walking.” I laughed lightly, kicking off my boot by the door and then began my way towards the stairs, Paul right on my trail.

“Least you didn’t get into a dog fight.” Paul joked back.

“That was your fault, dork!” I retaliated as we entered our room.

“Nah.” My imprinter laid himself out on the bed as I began to start stripping my clothes off and putting my clothes into the hamper by the door of the bathroom, getting ready to get in the shower.

“But I don’t mind this show.” Paul bit his lip, watching me.

“Stop.” I smiled and threw my shirt at him instead of the hamper and then unclasped my bra.

“You can’t blame a guy when you’ve got a great body like that.” Paul breathed out as he got up and came up behind wrapping his arms around my torso, his large frame seeming to swallow mine.

“Paul I want to shower and go to bed.” I almost mewled out as I rolled my head back onto his shoulder as his large rough hands came up and grabbed at my breast.

“Paul please. I’m too tired.” I said grabbing his wrist.

“As you wish my angel. Go shower, your personal heater will be waiting for you after you’re done.” Paul said between the peppering of kisses he was placing on my neck.

“I can’t wait.” I said as I left his warmth and got into the shower, washing the worries of the day away and then pulling on a sleep shirt and panties and curling up to my lover’s warmth under the covers, falling into a restful sleep.

“Angel. Wake up.” Paul nudged me out of my sleep.

“What time is it?” I growled out, hating the fact that I was awoken from my peaceful sleep.

“Almost 7.” Paul was rubbing my back soothingly, “There’s another vampire on the territory, I’m going to help the pack.”

“I’m coming with then.” I sat up and stretched.

“No.” he growled at me, “it could be that red-head again and I’m not risking her getting ahold of you.”

“Love.” I started turning in the bed to face him, placing one hand on his face, looking into his gorgeous eyes, “My job is to protect you and the pack. I’ll be okay.” I got out of bed as did Paul.

“No. I cant risk losing you.” He looked truly concerned, I also felt it.

“Well I don’t want to be a sitting duck. I’d be safer with you anyways.” I said and pulled on jeans and a tight gray shirt.

“Fine. Don’t leave my sight though.” Paul kissed my forehead, he already had his normal jean shorts on.

“I usually don’t. I don’t like it anyways.” I smiled as we walked down the stairs.

On our way out the door I pulled on black, to the knees boots and a brown leather jacket and walked out the door behind Paul, who began shifting already.

“Let’s go Wolfie.” I smirked over at him as he shook his wolf head and let me take the lead as we ran side by side, quickly finding the pack.

I stood next to Paul as we tried to stay out of the view of the hunting group, we’ve chased the red-head for miles now, just barely getting a hold of her.

She was close to the group, it seemed she was looking for someone. I glanced over to Harry as he used his foot to cover something up, I figured it was a paw print from one of the members as we’ve ran threw her countless times.

That’s when everything seemed to go into slow motion. Victoria appeared behind the Chief and Harry rose his gun and then she quickly came in front of him and grabbed him, lifting him off the ground and staring at him.

Whatever came over me made me lunged myself towards the vampire and side tackled her, making her drop Harry and we tumbled down the side of the foothill. On our way down a stray branch sticking up from a fallen tree cut deep into my side, just above my hip, causing the deep red, nearly black blood start to come out from the 4 inch long cut. Victoria stared at the cut, I could sense her confusion on why it didn’t smell or look like human blood and why she wasn’t wanting to rip me apart and drink from my body like she usually does with blood.

Weird, if she knew I was Paul’s mate, wouldn’t she have known I was an angel? There were lose ends that needed explaining.

My thoughts were pushed to the side as she attempted to make the first move and launch at me before Paul came out of nowhere and bit down onto her shoulder but she reacted quickly and punched him in the shoulder, making him whimper out and release her. She got to her feet and began running, the pack on her trail. I ran up to Paul, ignoring the pain in my side.

“Are you okay?” I asked as he stood up and shook it off.

Yeah, You okay?

“I will be. Let’s go.” I said and started running before Paul could protest. We caught up to the pack in no time when out of no where we reached the edge of the woods and Victoria jumped off the cliff.

“Dammit.” I said out loud, clutching my side once again, one downside to my abilities is that some wounds, mainly cuts, didn’t heal as fast as others but they always would heal within 12 hours, tops.

Are you okay? Jared asked

Dammit Rosalynn. What happened? Paul demanded not fully reasoning how bad it was till now.

“A stick got me after I tackled her, I’ll be okay in a couple hours.” I said as everyone but Jacob began to go back home.

Do you need us to get ahold of Sue? Sam asked.

“No. I just need some rest. I’ll be fine.” I was walking next to Paul, leaning slightly on him.

Paul shifted back and quickly picked me up.

“You’re not walking though.” Paul grunted out, totally ignoring the fact that he was walking naked thru the forest surrounded by other wolves who were his brothers.

When we arrived back to our home, Paul walked right upstairs and laid me down on our bed then disappearing into our hallway closet, grabbing some gauze and tape and came back to patch me up.

“Paul. I’ll be fully healed in a couple of hours, stop worrying.” I said as Paul ignored me and continued placing the bandage on my wound.

After he finished up he kissed my forehead and laid next to me draping his arm onto my lower hips, avoiding the cut.

Several hours passed, I was quickly regaining energy and the wound was healing itself but something felt wrong so I sat up which made Paul start to worry.

“What is it?” He knew that I felt something was off.

“Something’s not right. Call Sam, make sure everyone is okay.”

As if on cue our phone began ringing and Paul nearly jumped out of bed to answer it, it wasn’t even on its third ring cycle.

“Hello?” Paul asked and there a few moments of silence before he spoke again.

“Thanks. I’ll let her know. See ya.” Paul hung up the phone and looked at me.

“Who was it?” I asked

“Sam.” Paul stared at the ground, “Harry passed away. Cardiac arrest.” Paul got back into the bed with me pulling me towards him and burying his head into my neck and I held onto him, shocked and upset myself.

“I think Seth shifted.” I thought out loud, “And maybe Leah too.”
